As painful as this sounds, most people in the world are on the road to eternal damnation. This road looks like the path to salvation because it is a broad way that most people are taking. How can so many be wrong? "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death" (Proverbs 14:12). There is another way off the beaten path which few take that does lead them to eternal life. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6). The way of Christ may seem onerous to those committed to doing things their own way but in fact it really is the easiest (Matthew 11:30). All the religions of the world require people to do something to earn their salvation. With Christ all that needs to be done already has been done. To receive Christ as your Savior and Lord, simply ask Him to come into your life, "the Lord is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9).
