About BibleTract.org

Thanks for visiting BibleTract.org.  I am Scott Huckaby, BibleTract.org's webmaster. One of the aspects of being made in God's image (Genesis 1:26-27) is that people derive pleasure from creating things as God certainly did in creating the world (Genesis 1:31). I enjoy writing about spiritual matters that glorify Jesus...

The primary purpose of this Web site is to make downloadable, ready-to-use Bible tracts in .pdf format available to all who have a heart to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.  A secondary purpose of BibleTract.org is to archive Bible studies I've developed and essays I've written. My hope is that this may become a good resource to other Bible teachers and it is a good way for people who have received a BibleTract.org tract to learn more about the Lord.

The sword and Bible logo I selected for BibleTract.org represents how the Word of God is often symbolized in the Bible as a sword, see Ephesians 6:17, Hebrews 4:12, and Revelation 1:16. The sword in this logo also looks like a cross which points us to Jesus.

Perhaps you are someone who received a BibleTract.org tract. If your curiosity led you to this website, don't dismiss this as a typical thing.  Most people who receive a Bible tract toss them and don't give them another thought: "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God" (1 Corinthians 1:18). If you came to this website as a result of reading one of my hand-outs, God is drawing you to Him. As Jesus said, "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day" (John 6:44).

If you feel you are being drawn to God, I encourage you to check out the claims I've made about Jesus and eternal life for yourself. This is why God gave us His Word, the Bible; so that we may know Him. If you believe Jesus, that His sacrificial death on the cross paid the penalty for your sin, I urge you to yield your life to Him in response. Jesus said, "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light" (Matthew 11:29-30).

The greatest adventure in my life began the day God saved me. People who live in the shadow of death really aren't living. Applying the Truth about who Jesus is and why He came has indeed set me free (John 8:32).  "Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him!" (Psalm 34:8).

What to do...

If you are ready to respond to Jesus, do it this minute, it's too important to delay.  Just pray to God for Jesus to come into your life. If you need help to believe, ask Him for help. God has promised to bless all who sincerely seek Him.  Jesus said, "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out" (John 6:37).

Being saved is so easy a child can do it (and many do). "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

If you have any questions concerning faith in Christ with which I may be able to help you, please don't hesitate to email me at scott@BibleTract.org.

Thanks,
